In a significant move to strengthen its presence in Southeast Asia, Emirates has announced the introduction of a new route connecting Dubai to Siem Reap, Cambodia, with services set to commence on 3 June 2025.

Details of the new route
Emirates will operate three weekly flights to Siem Reap, with a stopover in Bangkok. The flights will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.Emirates Flight EK370 will depart from Dubai at 9:00 AM local time, arriving in Bangkok at 6:25 PM. It will then proceed to Siem Reap, departing Bangkok at 8:10 PM and arriving in Siem Reap at 9:30 PM.The return flight, EK371, will depart Siem Reap at 11:50 PM, stop in Bangkok, and then continue to Dubai, arriving at 6:50 AM the next day.
The route will be serviced by Emirates' Boeing 777-300ER, featuring a two-class configuration with 35 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 386 spacious seats in Economy Class.
Strategic impact
This new route will enhance tourism by providing easier access to Cambodia's iconic Angkor Wat temple complex, and will also strengthen trade and economic ties between the UAE and Cambodia. The strategic positioning of these flights ensures optimised connectivity for both business and leisure travellers, offering seamless connections to major European cities such as London, Paris, and Amsterdam, as well as key US cities.
