Turkish Airlines will launch scheduled flights between Istanbul, Turkey's largest city, and Phnom Penh on 10 December 2025, the airline announced in a press release.

Aimed at enhancing trade relations between Turkey and Cambodia and contributing to the economic growth of Turkish Airlines' new destination, the flights to Phnom Penh will extend the global carrier's Far East network to 20 cities and 21 airports.
“This new route will offer Turkish Airlines customers easier access to one of the region's key destinations and further demonstrate the unrivalled connectivity offered by the national carrier as the only European carrier to serve this destination,” said the airline.
The airline will serve Phnom Penh via Bangkok. Scheduled three times a week, flights from Istanbul to Phnom Penh will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, while flights from Phnom Penh to Istanbul will operate on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Ahmet Bolat, Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee of Turkish Airlines, said that Turkish Airlines continues to expand its networks in Asia and strengthen its links with strategic destinations in the region.
“The launch of flights to Phnom Penh marks an important step towards achieving this goal. Our flights to Cambodia will create new opportunities for tourism and business,” he said.
“Moreover, as the only European carrier to serve this destination, we will further strengthen our leading position in the region”, he stressed.
H.E. Ms Ülkü Kocaefe, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Cambodia, said earlier that the direct flight between Turkey and Cambodia would significantly reduce travel time and improve accessibility for business and leisure travellers. It would also facilitate trade and investment between the two countries, promoting economic cooperation, added the Ambassador.
