Tourism & Tradition: Siem Reap plans to organize the Water Festival

The Siem Reap administration has announced the organization of the annual Water Festival on November 14 and 15, 2024, with many varied activities.

In addition to traditional boat races, a full-moon salute, pounded rice tasting and lantern release, Siem Reap town will also host exhibitions of culinary specialties and local products, concerts, traditional performances and many other entertainments along the Siem Reap River and at major tourist sites.

The event is expected not only to help promote Cambodia's rich traditions and culture, but also to attract national and international visitors to the province.

The Siem Reap administration invites all visitors to join the event and asks them to help maintain order, security and cleanliness during the celebration.
