Speaking at the Smile of Cambodia event in front of Angkor Wat temple, Her Excellency Dr Men Sam An said the initiative highlighted the rich cultural heritage of the archaeological park.
Today, the Cambodian Artists Association held the "Smile of Cambodia" event in front of Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, chaired by Samdech Kittisangkhab Dr Men Sam An, Minister for Relations between the National Assembly and the Senate and Supreme Counselor to the King.
The Minister praised the efforts of the Association of Cambodian Artists, which "has always contributed to the promotion of the nation's culture and art by creating new works to promote art and culture and, above all, to create an exceptional atmosphere and a unique smile for tourists".
Also present was Lok Chumteav Neak Oknha Mao, President of the Khmer Artists Association, who said:
"Every time I visit Angkor Wat, I am amazed and grateful to our ancestors who built this eternal and world-famous monument".
