The Changran Roy community is a little-known tourist destination that deserves to be discovered.

Changkran Roy houses one of the last evergreen forests of the kingdom. The area is dotted with numerous waterfalls and streams, not to mention some quite unusual rocky landscapes. The tourist community is located about 70 km northwest of Siem Reap.

Managed by villagers, the Changran Roy community also offers accommodation and meal services. Local guides can be hired by the day for those who wish to take long walks or observe and photograph birds.

The reserve indeed shelters numerous species such as the Elliot's Pitta, the Bay Owl or Calang Phodile, the Eurasian Magpie, the coral-billed ground cuckoo, and the night heron. And many others...

This site is also a great place to see butterflies and dragonflies along the trails. And special tours can be organized from Siem Reap, with a night of camping near the waterfall.
