The APSARA National Authority has announced an extension to the opening hours of temples in Siem Reap province, with the aim of facilitating visits and attracting more tourists.
The announcement of the opening hour extension was circulated publicly on 23 August, with particular attention paid to all relevant authorities, tour agencies and operators, and the public.
The Pre Rup, Phnom Bakheng, and Phnom Krom Temples, which are popular for sunset viewing, are open from 06:00 until 19:00.
Please note that other temples are opened at 06:00 in the morning and closed at 18:30 in the evening.
After the closing hours, tourists who are present at all the temples are given an extra 30 minutes for touring, but please be aware that entries from more tourists are not allowed.
