Overview of the vintage

The 2012 vintage was marked by difficult weather conditions, including a cold winter, wet spring and dry summer, followed by rain in September. These conditions led to uneven ripening in the young vines, but enabled the mature vines located on prime terroirs to produce concentrated, elegant fruit. Only 34% of the harvest was selected for the Grand Vin, guaranteeing exceptional quality.
