Not so long ago, if you crossed the Japanese Friendship Bridge to the Chroy Changvar peninsula and headed north towards Kandal and beyond, you wouldn't have found much that was eye-catching, pleasing or worthy of special attention.
Recent years have brought a dramatic change to what was once a barren, dusty roadside. There is now such an abundance of flower fields that, more often than not, you'll see many curious onlookers parked along the roadside.
Many of them are surprised by the sight of the many colorful flowers and, on a breezy day without too much humidity, every passer-by can't help but make a little stop.
