Sports: Cambodia Ranks 3rd at 10th ITF Asian Taekwondo Championships

In the 10th ITF Asian Taekwondo Championships held in India, Cambodia ranked third with a total of 24 medals, including three gold, seven silver, and 14 bronze.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea was the most successful nation in terms of the number of medals won, with Kazakhstan coming in second.

Mr. Khoeun Bunlong was the first to be awarded a gold medal, which he received for his performance in the Individual Special Techniques event. He was subsequently awarded two additional gold medals, one for his participation in the men's Team Power Breaking event and another for his performance in the men's Team Special Techniques event.

On 25 August, Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet extended his felicitations to the Cambodian ITF Taekwondo athletes for their accomplishments at the 10th ITF Asian Taekwondo Championships.

The 10th ITF Asian Taekwondo Championships were held from 21 to 25 August in Bengaluru, India, with the participation of more than 750 athletes.

The Cambodian delegation for this regional competition comprised 27 members, of whom 17 were athletes (six women), and was led by H.E. Keo Remy, Senior Minister and President of the Cambodia ITF Taekwondo Federation.
