This initiative is part of a drive to promote the social inclusion and independence of people with disabilities, enabling them to access paid employment and integrate more easily into society. The aim of this social enterprise initiative is to provide vocational training while raising awareness of the contribution that people with disabilities can make to society.

The restaurant aims to equip participants with skills in the hospitality sector by providing a safe environment where learners can assimilate professional requirements while interacting with customers. This initiative is part of KSH's wider mission, which seeks to integrate young adults with conditions such as Down's syndrome, autism and cerebral palsy through education, vocational training and community living programmes.

The project also aims to challenge societal perceptions of disability in Cambodia, where stigma often isolates families and limits opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities. By developing the skills of the trainees, KSH aims to promote greater acceptance and integration within the community.

The restaurant is part of KSH's other programmes, such as sheltered workshops and partnerships with local businesses that offer jobs to graduates. For many participants, these initiatives represent an essential step towards financial independence.
