For two days, Treellion Park was the scene of an entertainment program combining gastronomy, music, games and fun activities for young and old alike. The festivities took place in the verdant setting of Koh Pich's Treellion Park.

Over the weekend, several thousand people flocked to the park for two days of unusual and varied festivities. In addition to discovering a wide variety of local and foreign cuisine, visitors were also able to (re)discover the artisans and artists who are members of the CULT collective, as well as painting exhibitions scattered throughout the green spaces. It was also an opportunity to take a fresh look at works by the Sra'art gallery and other artists.

As part of a program of entertainment and fun activities, several artists and contributors were called in. These included the clown Gobule Zigotto, the Bubble show Cambodia, Olympic mini-games and a paintball activity, the latter offered by a French team in Siem Reap.

Saturday evening was the highlight of the weekend, attracting large numbers of spectators. The musical program and the shows seduced the public, who let themselves be carried away by the rhythm of the performances of the various musical groups. These included Maki Orkestr and his gypsy melodies, the Khmer Magic Bus, Crucial Dub Alliance and Arome Khmer.

A special mention must go to Vibe Tribe's belly-dancing show, which dazzled the audience with a rhythmic, oriental performance.

Organized by Canopy Fest in collaboration with CULT, the platform dedicated to promoting Cambodia's best ethical brands, the festival featured an impressive program of activities for all ages: live music with headliners each day, an evening of performances on Saturday, a celebration of Cambodia's rich heritage through shows and exhibitions, a craft market with a selection of ethical products by local artisans and businesses; and activities designed to engage and delight visitors of all ages.

A successful initiative that we'd certainly like to see more of. For those who weren't lucky enough to take part, take a look at our photo albums:
