Phnom Penh & Initiative: The ‘Canvas Of Dreams’ campaign to encourage young artists

Oakwood Premier Phnom Penh is proud to share the success of its ‘Month of Giving: Canvas of Dreams’ campaign, which celebrates its second anniversary while raising funds for Tiny Toones Cambodia. The month-long initiative aims to encourage young artists and promote Khmer culture through a variety of activities.

The campaign has two main aims: to provide young Cambodian artists with the financial support and resources they need, and to showcase Phnom Penh as a vibrant centre for artistic expression. Every dollar raised during the month of October will directly benefit Tiny Toones, an NGO dedicated to teaching the arts, music and dance to underprivileged children.

The campaign included a number of activities, including ‘Stay with a Purpose’, where a proportion of every booking made during October was donated to Tiny Toones Cambodia. Guests also enjoyed an exhibition of artworks from the SraArt gallery, part of whose sales are donated to the NGO. The ‘Meet the Artist’ series gave guests the opportunity to meet the talented creators behind the works of art.

The highlight of the campaign will be the gala cocktail party on 6 November 2024, which promises to be an exceptional evening for the community to get together and join in the fundraising efforts

Attendees will be able to attend an auction and raffle with prizes including Air Asia tickets, once-in-a-lifetime holidays and works of art. The Secretary of State from the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts will also attend the event, underlining the importance of this initiative.

In addition, 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Tiny Toones, making this event a key element in the success of this initiative.
