A delegation of Mitsui & Co., Ltd., led by its Chief Operating Officer-IT & Communication Mr. Isao Kohiyama, has exposed its intention to invest in Cambodia’s ITC field.
The aim was revealed by Mr. Isao Kohiyama during a meeting with H.E. Chea Vuthy, Secretary General of Cambodian Board of Investment at the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), at the CDC headquarters in Phnom Penh late last week.
On the occasion, H.E. Chea Vuthy mentioned about noticeable growth of investment in Cambodia, including SEZ development, which have contributed to national economic diversification through attraction of new industries such as the production of bicycle, car tire, and electronic and electrical devices, automotive spare parts, and furniture, to name a few.
H.E. Secretary General also welcomed the above-said investment plan, and requested the Japanese side to help promote Cambodia’s investment opportunities and potential among other Japanese investors.
For his part, Mr. Isao Kohiyama briefed H.E. Chea Vuthy about business activities of Mitsui & Co., Ltd., and shared tendency in ITC development.
