As expected, the 2025 edition of the Rombak Battle brought energy, creativity and passion to an event that attracted several hundred people of all ages to The Factory Phnom Penh.

An electric atmosphere, an enthusiastic audience and a host of local talent from different countries all contributed to making this competition, Cambodia's only international hip-hop dance event, a real success.

Led by presenters Andrew Mam and Yaree, the evening featured a number of often impressive performances by local and international artists, as well as live music from Tey and 8GK.

During the interval, Andrew Mam, also a fine dancer, took the time to explain all the subtleties of hip-hop dance and its various categories. This was an opportunity to understand that this type of performance is not just about impressing the audience with acrobatic moves, and that there is a whole repertoire of figures that enable the judges to score the performances.

Afterwards, many of the participants gathered for a drink in the B.Box nightclub to extend the evening to the sounds of the DJs who had come especially for the competition: DJ Djel (France), DJ Babyscash (Thailand) and DJ Tony.S.Kay (Cambodia-France).
This 2025 edition showed that the Rombak Battle has quite simply become the event not to be missed on the Cambodian cultural scene. A real breath of fresh air for the local artistic community, attracting national and international talent of the highest calibre to its stages.

It's much more than just a competition: it's a vibrant platform that nurtures and develops the hip-hop movement in Cambodia with unparalleled energy and passion. By bringing together dancers from all over the world, it fosters a sense of community and creativity that allows participants to showcase their skills and passion for hip-hop.

Over the years, the Rombak Battle has grown in popularity and highlighted the event's lasting impact on the Cambodian cultural landscape, consolidating its position as a leading platform for hip-hop dance in the region.

As Cambodia continues to evolve towards different forms of artistic expression, events such as the Rombak Battle play a crucial role in promoting artistic expression and nurturing a vibrant creative community.
