Cambodia broke the record for the ‘largest supercar/hypercar exhibition’ at the Gumball 3000 rally, with 179 cars on show.

Cambodia broke the record for the ‘largest supercar/hypercar exhibition’ at the Gumball 3000 rally, with 179 cars on show.

The Guinness World Records Commission conducted an official count of the luxury cars on display in front of Angkor Wat during the Gumball 3000 rally on 17 September 2024. Although the count took place at that time, the results were not officially announced until 3 October 2024, when the Ministry of Tourism and the Gumball 3000 organisers confirmed the record.

This event was held to mark the 25th anniversary of Gumball 3000, organised under the patronage of Chip Mong in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism. As part of the festivities, the rally passed through Cambodia from 15 to 17 September 2024, culminating in a car exhibition in front of Angkor Wat to set the world record.
