Sofiia Chaban is a Franco-Ukrainian student who spent a week as a trainee at Thalias. She then had the incredible opportunity to sample different menus from Thalias' outlets, and she ended her experience with the amazing business lunch at Malis. According to the student, it was a culinary experience she'll never forget.

It's the first time I've tasted Khmer cuisine, and I was blown away! I'd tasted Khmer food before, but only in a few of Phnom Penh's small local restaurants and street food stalls. The setting of the Malis restaurant is absolutely beautiful, like being in nature itself, and there's even this wonderful fishpond. So, it really is a splendid setting – I was so pleasantly surprised!
