This typically Khmer dessert is made from two simple ingredients: pumpkin and palm sugar. It can be found in markets all over the country. This cake has a sweet taste and is perfect as a dessert or snack.
Ingredients
450 g grated pumpkins
120 g rice flour
250 ml coconut milk
120 g rice flour
10 g salt
100g palm sugar
Preparation
Peel and wash the pumpkin, then use a small grater
Mix the grated pumpkin, salt, melon juice, palm sugar jaggery and rice flour
Wrap each part of the mixture in banana leaves and steam for 20 minutes
Finally, open the banana leaf and enjoy
