H. E. Dith Tina stated that this exhibition is aimed at promoting the use of Cambodian agricultural products more widely, which will benefit the people and farmers.

"At a time when the world is experiencing crises such as climate change and the Russia-Ukraine war, Cambodia is able not only to ensure complete food security for the people across the country, but also to produce for export to foreign markets,” he said.

A resident of Phnom Penh, Mrs. Srey Touch, who visited the exhibition, expressed her surprise to see a vast array of locally produced items, crafted from natural resources.

“The quality and packaging of these products are impressive. This has reinforced my belief that Cambodian farmers and producers can manufacture high-quality products, which can compete with imported products,” Mrs. Srey Touch said.

Last year, Cambodia exported a whopping 8.4 million tonnes of agricultural products, including rice, cashew, pepper, banana, mango, and rubber, worth a whopping US$4.3 billion.
