Eyes on Cambodia: visit the exhibition and vote for the Best CambodiaPhoto of 2024

The highly anticipated Eyes on Cambodia Photo Competition’s final Exhibition opens on December 18th in Phnom Penh (Wild Phnom Penh), Battambang (Bambu Hotel), and Kampot (La Java Bleue), and on December 19th in Siem Reap (WildSiem Reap).

This exhibition features the top 30 photographs of Cambodia in 2024, carefully selected by a professional jury. Centered around the theme "Beautiful Cambodia", these stunning images capture the country's breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, and authentic life, offering a unique perspective from talented photographers.

Vote for the Best Cambodia Photo of 2024

Visitors to the exhibition have the unique opportunity to vote for their favorite photograph. These votes will help decide the winner of the Best Cambodia Photo of 2024, with the results to be announced on January 23, 2025, at Wild Phnom Penh.

Key Dates & Event Locations

1. Photo Exhibition:

The top 30 pictures will be displayed in four venues across Cambodia.

From December 18, 2024, to January 30, 2025:

○ Phnom Penh: Wild - Phnom Penh (opening event on December 18, 6pm)

○ Battambang: Hotel Bambu Battambang (opening event on December 20, 6pm)

○ Kampot: Hotel La Java Bleue (opening event on December 21, 5:30pm)

And from December 19, 2024 to January 30, 2025:

○ Siem Reap: Wild - Siem Reap (opening event on December 19, 6pm)

2. Public Voting:

Visitors to each exhibition will vote for their favorite photos, with their votes helping to determine the winners until January 18, 2025.

3. Award Ceremony:

Winners will be announced, and prizes awarded at a ceremony held on January 23, 2025, at Wild - Phnom Penh.

Supporting Reforestation Efforts in Cambodia

In addition to celebrating the art of photography, Eyes on Cambodia is dedicated to making a positive environmental impact. All photos from the final exhibition will be available for purchase at $100 each, with 60% of the proceeds going directly to the photographers and 40% donated to Wildlife Alliance to support their reforestation initiatives in Cambodia. Each purchase will contribute to our objective of planting a minimum of 300 trees annually.

Why We Created Eyes on Cambodia

Since 2017, Wild Restaurants have served as a platform for showcasing local talent through various exhibitions. Over the years, we have discovered a vibrant community of photographers, both amateur and professional, eager to share their work. However, many lack the opportunity to display their art on a national stage. Eyes on Cambodia aims to change that, becoming the first independent, nationwide photography contest open to everyone in Cambodia.
