Eyes on Cambodia: A new national photography competition

“Eyes on Cambodia” is pleased to announce the launch of its first photography competition, offering participants the opportunity to showcase Cambodia's beauty through their lenses.

A platform for talent and environmental impact

The theme of this year's competition, “Beautiful Cambodia”, offers participants creative freedom to showcase the country's unique culture, landscapes and people. From majestic temples to everyday life, photographers are encouraged to interpret the theme in their own way.

Accompanied by a brief description, each photo submitted will be examined by a panel of expert judges. The 30 best photos selected will be exhibited in four major cities: Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Kampot and Battambang. Visitors will be able to vote for their favorite works, contributing to the final ranking alongside the jury's assessments.

Supporting reforestation efforts in Cambodia

In addition to celebrating the art of photography, Eyes on Cambodia is committed to having a positive impact on the environment. All photos in the final exhibition will be available for purchase at $100 each, with 60% of proceeds going directly to the photographers and 40% going to Wildlife Alliance to support its reforestation initiatives in Cambodia. Every purchase will contribute to our goal of planting a minimum of 300 trees per year.

Prizes:

Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, the competition has a prize fund worth over $1,500, including $1,000 in cash for the winner. The three best photos will also be published in Sovrin magazine, accompanied by interviews with the photographers.
