Economy: DPM SUN Chanthol to visit France for "Knock-on-Door" mission this year

H.E. SUN Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice President of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, will be visiting France before the end of this year to pursue further investment from French businesses in Cambodia.

The information was disclosed by the Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) during a dinner reception held at the Cambodian Development Council headquarters on 9 July. The reception was held in honour of the French delegation attending the 2nd France-Cambodia Business Forum.

Also in attendance were H.E. Jacques Pellet, Ambassador of France to Cambodia; Cambodian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries H.E. Dith Tina; Minister of Health H.E. Chheang Ra; members of the Cambodian Oknha Association; and numerous Cambodian and French businesspeople.

H.E. SUN Chanthol expressed optimism that the number of French investors coming to the Kingdom to invest would increase following the three-day forum.
