Culture & Event: Celebrate love and tradition at Cambodia's biggest wedding fair

Creative Living Co., Ltd. is proud to present Cambodia’s largest wedding expo, taking place from 20 to 22 September 2024 at The Premier Centre Sen Sok.

According to the organiser, the event is designed to help couples planning their dream wedding to easily connect with a wide range of service providers, while promoting and celebrating the rich Khmer traditions that are integral to Cambodian wedding ceremonies.

According to Mean Sam Ol of Creative Living Co, Ltd., the wedding fair aims to provide a unique platform for brides and grooms to meet with various companies and businesses specialising in wedding services.

“This programme not only facilitates wedding planning, but also draws attention to our cherished Khmer cultural heritage and showcases it to both national and international guests,” he said at a press conference on Friday.

Mr Touch Ratha, CEO of Chef Seng Hok Heng, emphasised the importance of showcasing quality wedding services at the exhibition. “A wedding ceremony is essential for many, and this event will help promote quality services that respect and embrace our traditional culture,” he said.

Director General of the Wedding Embellishment, Dy Sonita, emphasised that Khmer ceremonies are rich in meaning and artistic expression.

“Every aspect of our cultural heritage deserves to be celebrated – this event will not only educate visitors about our traditions, but also promote the beautiful art forms of Cambodia,” she said.

The wedding fair will feature entertaining concerts by popular Cambodian artists such as Khemarak Sereymon, Meas Soksophea, Duong Viraksith, Mam Pichrith and Lim Tech Meng. Families can also look forward to children’s play areas.

With 1,000 brides and grooms expected to attend, the event, which kicks off on 20 September, is set to be a major celebration of love, culture and community in Cambodia.
