Cambodia & Photography: Marvellous sculptures at Banteay Srei

Photographer Justin Vidamo presents a series revealing the beauty of the sculptures at Banteay Srei temple.

This temple in the Siem Reap region is considered to be one of the jewels of Khmer art, thanks to the finesse of its sculptures, the beautiful earth and pink sandstone colours and the quality of its murals.

The numerous crosspieces bear sculptures illustrating scenes from Indian mythology, with numerous representations of Vishnu, Indra and other scenes from the Mahabharata and the Ramayana.
