The “BON PHNOM” festival of tourism, music, arts and sports - a non-plastic event - will take place on 15 and 16 February in Kirirom National Park (officially Preah Suramarit-Kossamak National Park) in Phnom Sruoch district, Kampong Speu province.
This exceptional event aims to celebrate Cambodia's cultural heritage, promote eco-tourism and encourage environmental responsibility.
Covering a distance of 4 kilometres, from the Neak Poan roundabout to the ancient palace at the top of the picturesque Kirirom Highlands, the festival will feature live music, traditional Khmer cuisine, sporting events and art exhibitions. Visitors will be able to explore the facilities and festive activities from 8am to 2am, with free entry for all.
Organised to boost local tourism and encourage community involvement, BON PHNOM focuses on sustainability by eliminating single-use plastics. The initiative is supported by the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, the Ministry of the Environment, the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia and the provincial administration of Kampong Speu.
Join in the celebration of nature, culture and creativity while supporting greener travel practices in one of Cambodia's most stunning natural landscapes!
