Stefano Ricci's spring/summer 2025 collection, entitled ‘Mission Cambodia’, is part of the brand's R EXPLORER series. The collection is deeply inspired by Cambodia's rich cultural heritage and natural landscapes, reflecting the brand's commitment to exploration, sustainability and luxury.
This new collection is inspired by the enchanting landscapes of Cambodia, including the Mekong River, Tonle Sap Lake and the ancient temples of Angkor. It captures the essence of timeless Khmer culture through its architecture, sculptures and the natural world that reclaims its ancient stones.
The collection features natural earth tones, forest greens, greys inspired by the temples of Angkor and blues reminiscent of the step sky. Key pieces include aloe linen shirts, white eveningwear, Saharan jackets, country jackets and logo backpacks with ruthenium accessories.
The garments are made from natural fibres such as cotton and linen, using techniques that enable them to withstand extreme weather conditions.
The collection includes an overshirt that recalls the casual silhouettes of the 90s, made in the sartorial tradition of the Florentine house. A lightweight crocodile nubuck jacket is also a highlight, symbolising uniqueness and luxury.

Stefano Ricci has teamed up with Wild Earth Allies (WEA) to support the conservation of Asian elephants in Cambodia. The partnership aims to protect vital habitats, integrate cultural values and improve local livelihoods. In addition, the brand is committed to reforestation efforts, having planted 5,000 trees as part of its sustainability initiatives.
Brand vision and expansion
This collection embodies Stefano Ricci's vision of timeless elegance and commitment to luxury, while underlining the brand's strategic growth. New shop openings are planned in Houston, Washington D.C., Hong Kong and Ho Chi Minh City. The brand continues to invest in production efficiency and sustainability, reflecting its commitment to luxury and environmental responsibility.

About Stefano Ricci
Stefano Ricci is an influential Italian designer and founder of the luxury brand that bears his name, established in 1972. Starting out as a tie maker, Ricci transformed his business into a fully-fledged luxury brand known for its high-quality menswear and accessories, including shirts, suits and casual wear. The brand is headquartered in Fiesole, near Florence, and operates around 78 mono-brand shops worldwide.
Stefano Ricci began his career in fashion by presenting a small collection of ties at the Pitti Immagine Uomo fashion exhibition in Florence. His innovative designs quickly attracted attention, leading to the expansion of his product range to include shirts in 1980, followed by jackets, sportswear and fragrances. The brand is renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship, favouring handmade products and using the finest materials.

Family business and leadership
Today, Stefano Ricci S.p.A. is a family business run by Ricci, his wife Claudia and their two sons, Niccolò (CEO) and Filippo (Creative Director). This family involvement is a source of pride for Ricci, who has resisted offers to sell the company to larger groups in order to maintain his commitment to quality over profit.
Philosophy and impact
Ricci emphasises the importance of quality and craftsmanship in fashion. He believes that handmade items ‘exude a unique energy that cannot be replicated by machines’. His approach is to hire skilled artisans to ensure that traditional techniques are preserved, while mentoring younger generations. The brand has also expanded into lifestyle products, including homewares and bespoke interior design services.
Stefano Ricci's dedication to excellence has made his brand a favourite with an elite clientele, often referred to as the ‘designer of the 0.001%’ by the New York Times because of its exclusivity and luxury appeal.
