According to a press release issued yesterday by Angkor Enterprise, Cambodia has earned over $31 million from ticket sales to the Angkor Archaeological Park, Koh Ker and Chong Khneas Tourism Port in the first eight months of 2024.
During this period, 651,457 foreign tourists purchased tickets to visit the Angkor Archaeological Park and Koh Ker temple, an increase of 30.76% compared to the same period in 2023.
This influx of visitors resulted in a revenue increase of USD 30,334,229, an increase of 31.36% from the previous year.
The Royal Government donated USD 1,303,714 to Kantha Bopha Hospital to help save the lives of Cambodian children.
More than 790,000 foreign tourists bought tickets to visit the Angkor Archaeological Park in 2023.
