Cambodia & Beauty Recipe: Kampot salt body scrub

Kampot salt is a popular ingredient in Cambodian beauty recipes because of its exfoliating and purifying properties. Coconut oil moisturises and nourishes the skin, while lemongrass essential oil adds a touch of fresh, pleasant fragrance.

Ingredients

• 1 cup Kampot salt

• 1/2 cup coconut oil

• 5 drops lemongrass essential oil

Preparation

• In a bowl, mix the Kampot salt and coconut oil until well blended.

• Add the drops of lemongrass essential oil and mix again

• Apply the scrub to the body using gentle circular movements, paying particular attention to rough areas such as elbows, knees and heels.

• Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry gently with a clean towel
