Beauty & Cambodia : Turmeric facial mask
Turmeric is a popular ingredient in Cambodian beauty recipes due to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Rice flour is used as a gentle exfoliant to remove dead skin cells, while honey and yoghurt nourish and moisturise the skin.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon rice flour
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon plain yoghurt
Preparation
Mix the turmeric and rice flour in a bowl
Add the honey and yoghurt and mix well until smooth.
Apply the mask to your face, avoiding the eye area
Leave on for around 15 minutes
Rinse with lukewarm water and pat your face dry gently with a clean towel
