15th Phnom Penh Photo Festival: The full 2024 programme

To commemorate the 15th edition of the Photo Phnom Penh festival, photographers from Asia and Europe have been invited to take part in discussions, present their previous work and exchange views. Most of these events are free of charge.

After Switzerland and Taiwan, this fifteenth edition welcomes France as a guest country, with a number of French photographers featured in several exhibitions throughout the festival. There will also be a group exhibition in the Institut's gallery featuring sixty artists who have already taken part in Photo Phnom Penh and who will be presenting new works, some of them on video. And of course, the now famous Tuk Tuk Tour is back, this time over two days.

This fifteenth edition coincides with an important event: the opening, at last, of a training and professional development structure for photography and the image: Studio Images - Maison de la photographie. Taking on the title of Studio Images, which in its early days was the photography training workshop of the Institut français, it is thanks to the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) that this independent structure, which is establishing links with other establishments around the world, including the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie d'Arles, has come into being. Active since September, it has the support of the festival's traditional partners, the French Institute, the European Union, Cambodia Airports and Cambodia Living Arts, as well as private partners for its first year of existence.
